In days of grief, few gifts mean more than a shared meal — a ministry our Bereavement Ministry Team faithfully provides.
“We work together to provide a meal for the grieving family,” shares team leader Lancy Rhyne. “The most meaningful part as a team is we care about each other.”
On the day of the service, the team serves at the church or in the home. “The families are so appreciative,” Lancy reflects. “They can gather, share a meal, and share time together to grieve. Large or small, they have a time to share in a private setting.”
