The Biblical Foundation of Giving
As Christians, we are called to be generous and to support the work of the church. The Bible provides us with numerous examples and teachings about the importance of giving
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 (NIV)
This verse reminds us that giving should come from a place of joy and willingness, not obligation. When we give with a cheerful heart, we align ourselves with God’s love and generosity.
The Joy of Giving
Giving is not just about financial support; it’s an act of worship and a reflection of our faith. When we give, we participate in God’s work and experience the joy of being part of something greater than ourselves.
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Acts 20:35 (NIV)
These words of Jesus, quoted by Paul, highlight the spiritual and emotional rewards of generosity. By giving, we open ourselves to experience God’s blessings in new and profound ways.
Why Your Gift Matters
Your donation plays a crucial role in sustaining and expanding our ministry. Here are some of the ways your gift can make a difference:
-
- Missions and Evangelism: Spreading the Gospel locally and globally.
- Youth and Children Ministries: Investing in the spiritual growth and development of our young people.
- Worship and Music Ministry: Enhancing our worship experiences and reaching hearts through music.
- Bible Study and Fellowship: Offering a variety of experiences for spiritual and relational growth for people at every stage of life.
- Building Maintenance: Ensuring our church remains a welcoming and safe place for all.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
Malachi 3:10 (NIV)
This powerful promise from God reminds us that when we give faithfully, He blesses us abundantly. While we don’t give to receive, we can trust that God honors our obedience and generosity.
Stewardship and Accountability
We are committed to being good stewards of your gifts. Our Finance Committee ensures that all donations are used effectively and in alignment with our mission. We provide regular financial reports to our congregation and are always available to answer any questions about how funds are allocated.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” –
1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
Thank You for Your Support

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
